How to Make Beefy Big Mac Sliders with Classic Sauce
Step 1 Mix mayo, French dressing, relish, onion, vinegar, sugar, onion powder, and paprika. Chill the sauce until needed. Taste it before adding salt—it’s usually perfect as is. (Hard-learned tip: Let the sauce sit 10 minutes for flavors to blend.)
Step 2 Butter the slider buns and toast them until golden. Add sesame seeds if you like extra crunch. Layer cheese on the bottom buns and set aside. Keep the tops separate so they stay crisp.
Step 3 Cook the beef with salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, and oregano. Drain the grease, then melt in extra cheese. Stir until gooey and evenly mixed. Spoon the beef onto the cheesy buns.
Step 4 Bake until the cheese melts, then add lettuce and pickles. Spread sauce on the top buns and sprinkle onions. Description
Enjoy these delicious Beefy Big Mac Sliders with the iconic Big Mac sauce, perfect for parties or a quick meal.
Ingredients
Instructions
- Make the Sauce: Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use. You can add salt and pepper if desired, but I didn’t think it needed any.
- Prepare the Buns: Open the buns and place the inside facing up on a large baking sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter and toast until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and brush the top buns lightly with butter and sprinkle with sesame seed (optional). Remove the top buns from the pan and set them aside. Lay a slice of cheese on each bottom bun. Set aside.
- Cook the Beef: Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Break it up in an even layer and sprinkle evenly with the burger seasonings. Cook the beef until browned, and then drain off the grease. Turn off the heat and add in the remaining cheese (8 slices), and stir until melted and combined with the ground beef.
- Prepare the Sliders: Place a spoonful of the ground beef mixture on the bottom buns. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake until the sliced cheese on the bun starts to melt. Remove from oven. Add lettuce and two pickles on top of the beef mixture. Spread a generous amount of Big Mac sauce on the underside of the top bun and sprinkle on chopped onion. Place the top bun on.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can toast the buns a little longer for added crispiness.
